The Students Union of the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics invites you to take a part in new academic year welcome events “Pre-Aristotelis” and “Aristotelis”. The celebration will start with “Pre-Aristotelis” on Sunday, September 3rd at 10.30 at the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics, Aspazijas blvd. 5

During the event, you will have chance to meet Dean of the faculty, get to know the faculty, meet other international and local students, ask questions to senior year students, take part in activities prepared by Students Union and go together to Aristotle 2017 party. Dress code red and black.

After “Pre-Aristotelis” all students from Faculty of Business, Management and Economics will go together to Doma square where at 19.00 “Aristotelis” official part will begin. In “Aristotelis” the new students will be congratulated by Rector of the University, prof. Indrikis Muižnieks, student corporation members and specially selected first-year student, and, of course our very own Aristotle.

Universities orchestra will warm-up the students before the big march, in which students will be yelling patriotic chants, showing off faculty flags and use any method possible to prove their dedication to the University of Latvia.

The march will begin in Doma square and followed by cheers, lead its way through the Old Riga, and finish at Raina Boulevard, where the non-official part of the celebration will begin, and later on, come to an end at 5.00 in the morning. The students will have the chance to dance in front of two different stages, make some memories in a photo-corner and challenge their luck in numerous activities. Do not miss the celebration and join us!

The evening part starts at 22.00 and the tickets for it is available at the Student Council (Raiņa Boulevard 19, Room 144.). Tickets are available in the office hours (10.00 – 17.00) and the price for one ticket is from 5 to 7 Euros.
